The Bible tells us that the greatest commandment is to love God. The second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor. If you only knew the magnitude of the first, you would never stop loving God. You would never stop loving God, because loving God is the best thing in the world.When I was young, I was taught that love is a feeling. I was taught that you feel love when someone is nice to you. I was taught that the way to love God was to be nice to Him. I was taught that the way to get to Heaven was to be good.Love is an amazing feeling. When someone you care about loves you, it feels incredible. You feel safe, you feel valued, you feel loved. You can walk around with a smile on your face for days.
